We're PartsMatch
PartsMatch is a Wholesale B2B marketplace for powersports and marine dealers
Our Mission
Is to help powersport and marine dealers win by making it easy to source the parts they need and offload the ones they don’t.
Our Vision
A future where powersports and marine dealers are sourcing the parts they need quickly, have limited obsolete inventory, short RO times, and increased profits, all while eliminating waste for a more sustainable world.
Our Story
Like many powersports and marine dealerships, PartsMatch traces its roots to a family business: Island Motorcycle Company in Victoria, BC. Skyler and Griffin spent their summers working for their dad in the parts department.
Growing up in a family deeply involved in the powersports industry, Skyler and Griffin were exposed to the challenges faced by dealerships, like long lead times for sourcing parts and frozen capital tied up in idle and obsolete inventory.
During their summer job at Island Motorcycle Company, Skyler and Griffin were tasked with selling a trailer full of parts that the General Manager had purchased from another dealership for a discount.
Realizing the potential value, Skyler, Griffin, and their close friend Marisa Shorrock tried to find a way to sell these parts online. They soon discovered, however, that no efficient solution existed for tackling this problem, which motivated the trio to create a better solution, PartsMatch.
In the winter of 2023, Skyler Wilson, Griffin Wilson, and Marisa Shorrock founded PartsMatch while pursuing their studies at Yale University and launched the company in early 2024.
At PartsMatch, our mission is to help powersports and marine dealers win. Period.
